Privacy Policy

Stint is published by 2Fine LLC. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
01Who we are
Stint is operated by 2Fine LLC (“we”, “us”), the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at contact@2finellc.com.
02What we collect
- Account identity — a display name and either an email address or a Sign in with Apple private relay address
- Study activity — session start and end times, duration, and the subject label you assign
- Social graph — the accounts you choose to follow or add as friends
- Basic diagnostics — anonymised crash reports and performance data
03What we do not collect
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, microphone or camera access
- Screen-time or device-usage data from outside the app
- Advertising identifiers — Stint runs no ads and no third-party ad SDKs
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.
04Why we collect it
Only to operate the app: to keep your account working, to store the data you deliberately create in the app, to show you and the people you connect with the features you asked for, and to find and fix crashes.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
05Who else touches it
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, push notifications and App Store transactions
- Our hosting and database provider, used solely to store and serve your account data
These providers process data on our instructions only. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
06Where it lives and how long
Data is stored in United States. We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete the associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation.
Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept.
07Your rights and controls
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time, from Settings → Account inside the app. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email contact@2finellc.com. We will not make you jump through hoops, and we will not charge you.
08Children
Stint is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your data.
10Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
