Terms of Service

This is an agreement between you and 2Fine LLC, a limited liability company registered at 418 Broadway, Ste N, Albany, NY, 12207, United States. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our products.

Some products require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app, or by writing to us.

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or use our products to help someone else break it
• Harass, impersonate or endanger other people using our products
• Attempt to breach, probe or overload our systems
• Reverse engineer, resell or redistribute our software except where the law expressly permits it
• Falsify activity data to gain standing on a leaderboard or in a social feature

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

What you create in our products — your sessions, notes, subjects and profile — belongs to you. You grant us only the licence we need to store it, display it back to you, and show it to the people you deliberately share it with.

We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train machine learning models.

The software, designs, text, brand names and marks — including 2Fine, Stint, Veldon and 2Fine Apparel — remain the property of 2Fine LLC. You may not use them without written permission, other than for ordinary description and fair use.

Purchases made inside our apps are processed by Apple through the App Store and are governed by Apple’s terms as well as these. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your device’s subscription settings; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Physical goods sold by 2Fine Apparel are covered by the returns terms provided at the point of sale.

We work to keep our services running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid product, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Our products are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our study and productivity tools are not medical, educational or professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2Fine LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You may stop using our products at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability — do.

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and give notice in-product before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the products afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
