2Fine LLC exists to own and operate a small number of businesses properly, rather than a large number of them approximately.
We started 2Fine because the work we wanted to do did not fit in one category. A study app and a clothing label have almost nothing in common on paper.
What they share is a standard. Every one of them is judged on whether the thing itself is good (the fabric, the interaction, the model output) rather than on how convincingly it can be described. That is a harder business to run and a much easier one to be proud of.
We take no outside investment, which means we answer to the people using the products rather than to a schedule for growth. It also means we ship more slowly than we would like, and we have made peace with that.
Everything we publish carries the 2Fine LLC name and a real support address. If something we make is not right, there is a person on the other end of it.
