Straight answers
The things parents ask first.
Stint is used mostly by students between 13 and 18. Here is the whole posture, in plain language, before anyone has to go looking for it.
- Who is Stint for?
- Students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for under 13s, and there is no signup path that collects a birthdate, a school or a phone number.
- Who can see my study data?
- Only the people you add. Friends are mutual and opt in, profiles are not public by default, and there is no global feed a stranger can find you through.
- Are there ads?
- No. No ads, no ad SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and we never sell or share personal data with data brokers. Stint has nothing to gain from your attention beyond you studying.
- Does it cost anything?
- Stint is free to use, with an optional Pro tier for people who want more. The free version is a real product, not a trial, and we will not surface an upgrade prompt at the moment you break a streak.
- What about Android?
- iOS and iPadOS first, Android after. Study groups are not all on one platform, so it is on the roadmap rather than off the table. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when it lands.
- Can I delete everything?
- Yes, from inside the app, and it actually deletes. Export first if you want to keep your sessions; you get a plain JSON file of every one of them.

The artifact is the product. You are building something that gets more beautiful the longer you use it, and that is the reason to come back at month six, not a notification.
